# Employee Spotlight: Jaden Smith
[Jaden Smith](https://www.linkedin.com/in/jaden-smith-3a310b223) is a Marketing Operations intern here at LinkSquares. (No, not *that* [Jaden Smith](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jaden_Smith). But *our* Jaden Smith says he gets that comparison all the time!)
Jaden recently sat down with our People Team to reflect on his experience at LinkSquares as he preps for his senior year at the University of Rhode Island (URI.) He will continue to work as a part-time intern for the Demand Generation team once he goes back in the fall.
- **What are you studying in school?**
My major is Marketing, and my Minor is Business Analytics and AI at URI.
- **What’s it like to be an intern here at LinkSquares?**
My internship experience at LinkSquares has been amazing. There’s this special energy in the environment that really fosters growth and excellence.
- **What does a typical day consist of for you?**
Typically, you can find me managing some kind of daily marketing operations tasks or assisting the rest of the Demand Gen team with anything they might need. I love coming into the office and taking the opportunity to get to know my coworkers better, as well as the beautiful views of downtown Boston you get to work from.
- **What do you like best about LinkSquares?**
My favorite thing about LinkSquares has to be the people. It all starts with the leadership from the top-down. The culture and everyone's drive to embody LinkSquares’ core values are evident.
- **Describe your best day at LinkSquares so far.**
The summer soiree at Encore in Boston was probably the best experience yet. The office was packed with familiar faces. There was excitement in the air! Our People Team did an amazing job organizing the company-wide party, and we had a great night in the city.
- **What are some of your favorite things to do when you’re not working?**
I love to spend time with my family, especially my two little sisters, Jaliyah and Jaeana, who mean the world to me. Soccer is my favorite sport, and I enjoy kicking the ball around with my friends. I’m an avid music listener, and you can find me at many concerts around New England. My girlfriend Sydney and I have begun traveling and hope to see as much of this world as possible!
