Employee Spotlight: Jason SanMarco

Meet Jason SanMarco, a Senior Product Designer here at LinkSquares.

Jason is integral to creating a seamless user experience (UX) for LinkSquares customers and making our products the best they can be.

When they’re not working, they enjoy spending time creating, writing, and DM’ing for various tabletop roleplaying games. Read more about Jason’s experience at LinkSquares in their own words.

• What do you do at LinkSquares?
  I am a Senior Product Designer, working on existing products and future POC prototypes. I also run a collective UX learning group called the “Design Guild.”
  
• What does a typical day consist of for you?
  A typical day consists of coordinating with teams through meetings and Slack, while driving the ideation and planning of Proof of Concept (POC) projects. I actively support development teams with essential UX requirements and deliverables, including prototypes and design assets.
• Why did you choose LinkSquares over other options?

I found the industry and the problems it faced within the digital space incredibly fascinating. Also, as a Non-binary Trans person, I felt very safe and welcomed during the interview screening process. Plus, the people here are absolutely brilliant!

• What do you like to do in your free time?

I am a writer, and also a DM (forever DM) for multiple Tabletop Roleplaying Games. I’m a social activist and very crafty with old vintage furniture.
