Employee Spotlight: Kimya Harper

Kimya Harper is always down for a “wild” time. Literally.

As a Support Engineer on our IT team at LinkSquares, Kimya is known for his ability to thrive under pressure. His calm, cool, and collected demeanor instantly puts the rest of the LinkSquad at ease when they’ve locked themselves out of an account, need access to certain software, or when their laptop is on the fritz.

When he’s not working, Kimya enjoys action-packed hobbies like traveling, rock climbing, and working with animals. In addition to pet sitting, he often volunteers at animal shelters and rescues. One of his favorite places to volunteer is Animal Adventures in Bolton, Massachusetts, which specializes in rescuing exotic animals. The family zoo and rescue center offers educational resources such as special events, animal classes, and even traveling programs. Animals such as owls, goats, kangaroos, and cows are just a few of the critters Kimya has been able to help out with during his various volunteering adventures.

• What do you do at LinkSquares?

I’m a Support Engineer at LinkSquares on the IT team. A typical day would be me taking care of employees' IT tickets and handling those requests. I help people around the office (or remotely) with their technical problems.

• What’s different about our IT team?

We are very customer-focused. Problems that come up are solved within excellent timeframes and are handled efficiently, which can be hard to establish in a fast-paced company with lots of new hires and constant change.

• Why did you choose LinkSquares over other options?

I wanted to work at a place that would allow me to grow with the company. When LinkSquares reached out to me, I knew that would be a good fit for my own aspirations and long-term career goals.

• What do you like to do in your free time?

I like to be busy. I enjoy traveling, rock climbing, and hanging out with animals, as you’ll see in my pictures.
