# Creating an Award-Winning Work Culture
It’s no secret that we’ve had a lot going on at LinkSquares lately. Between our #379 ranking on the 2022[Inc 5000](https://blog.linksquares.com/linksquares-ranks-on-inc-5000-list) list and being named one of [Forbes’ Next Billion Dollar Startups](https://blog.linksquares.com/linksquares-named-to-forbes-next-billion-dollar-startups-for-2022), we’re doing a lot of celebrating! But what is it really like to work at LinkSquares? And how did we establish our award-winning work culture?
The answers lie in our founders’ original vision. Co-founder & SVP of Business Development [Chris Combs](https://www.linkedin.com/in/christophercombs/)and co-founder & CEO [Vishal Sunak](https://www.linkedin.com/in/vishalsunak/) knew when they started this journey that they needed to take a different approach to a well-loved industry. Vishal recently sat down with [Keith Cline](https://www.linkedin.com/in/keithcline/)of [VentureFizz](https://venturefizz.com/videos/working-at-linksquares)to discuss how this original two-man project has evolved and changed beyond his wildest dreams. In fact, we are working on filling over 200 [open positions](https://linksquares.com/careers/open-positions/) by the end of 2022.
So how do you build a work culture that you want to be a part of? Regardless of what industry you’re in, here are 3 simple focus areas to help you get started:
## 1: Foster a sense of community
Whether you’re fully remote or in the office five days a week, creating a strong community bond is key to overall success. Vishal attributes some incredible statistics largely to LinkSquares’ strong culture.
## 2: Embrace “customer-first” and “team-first” mindsets
Customers are the lifeblood of any organization, and LinkSquares is no exception. Vishal explains that “customer-first” and “team-first” values are paramount to creating financial and internal success within your organization.
