Meet Shelby Gast, sales strategy team lead, artist, and self-described “collector of hobbies.”
Shelby started as an account executive before being promoted to team lead for the all-star sales strategy team at LinkSquares.
When she’s not diving down a Salesforce rabbit hole or crushing sales goals, you can find Shelby creating abstract paintings, going on her next camping adventure, and hanging out with her cat, Walter.
Read more about Shelby’s experience in her own words:
I’m the Team Lead for Sales Strategy. We have a few responsibilities, but our main objective is to provide the sales team with highly qualified leads and advise them on how to proceed.
No day is really the same! Sometimes I'm in back-to-back meetings all day, sometimes, it’s wide open, and I spend my time investigating accounts in Salesforce. That’s the best part, though: I never know what the day will bring.
We are like a start-up within a start-up, our team was created in November of last year and has been rockin' and rollin’ ever since. We are the first team like this that Linksquares has had, so it’s been rewarding to build high-impact processes to drive revenue.
I loved the energy I was getting in the interview. Linksquares was a team I was sure would invest in me as much as I would invest in them, and I was right! I’ve had a crazy ride and some amazing opportunities here, and couldn't have chosen better.
I'm a collector who collects hobbies. I camp, hike, climb, and I love a road trip. When I'm home, I spend a lot of time painting (large abstracts,) crocheting, and hanging out with my cat Walter.
