Forrester used 26 criteria to assess CLM providers, dividing them into three categories—Leaders, Strong Performers, and Contenders. This comprehensive report focused on the 12 most significant players in the space. Forrester evaluates vendors based on three key areas: current offering, strategy, and customer feedback. Forrester factors in feedback provided by up to three customers of each vendor. LinkSquares was evaluated as one of the top providers, earning a place as a Strong Performer in the study.

Vendor Inclusion Criteria
- Forrester selected vendors for this assessment based on the following criteria:
Comprehensive CLM Support: Vendors offer enterprise-level support across the entire contract lifecycle, from digitizing and searching to creating, negotiating, and managing obligations post-execution. - User Versatility: Solutions must cater to buy-side, sell-side, and legal operations needs, with at least 10% of their customers using each function.
- Market Presence: Vendors generate at least $20 million annually from their CLM offerings and have 100+ active customers specifically using their CLM solutions.
- Industry Recognition: Vendors are frequently mentioned by Forrester clients and peers as being considered or competing in the CLM market.
Forrester's Evaluation
Companies in the report were evaluated across two major categories—current offering and strategy. LinkSquares received the highest scores possible in the contract analysis and search and legal operations criteria. We also scored among the second highest in 18 important criteria, including reporting and visualization, configurability, contract creation, usability, workflow, roadmap, adoption, and innovation.
